What I like Right Now

I LOVE this amazing vintage sewing pattern that Rita from Chez Cemitarian has listed on eBay right now.

Those fabric folds on the skirt, how swoon worthy.

Hi there,
I love these 50s dresses and want to know how to make the net petticoats that go under. Do you have a simple picture or description. I am needing to make one by OCT 5 and don't have time to buy a pattern!
Thanks

Great patterns! this is a noce site!

Perhaps the petticoat pattern to fit these could be taken from current commercial patterns, retro or costume. They would be close enough, since they go under anyway. Just pick one that mirrors the fullness or straight lines of the dress you wish to use it under.

Joann Fabrics has patterns on sale for one or two bucks just about every week. Unless you prefer a vintage original.

God Bless you and I hope you find what you like!
